Trophies for the Diderot award 2016 - AMCSTI

Creation

"A trophy that rewards projects and actors engaged in the sharing of scientific, technical and industrial culture." We have chosen to express this in the way we made it as well as in the shape we gave to it by creating an object that is an assemblage of know-how.
Networking and information sharing graphic representations are laser-cut in multiple sheets of veneer. It is then tinted and assembled in layers to create depth in the material.
The trophy takes the form of a hexagon because it can be assembled into a pattern.
This symbolizes the fact that the rewarded people and organisations, whether they evolve individually or in small groups, fit into a wider framework, culture.
